Who built the House on the Rock?

Just like many of the architectural wonders designed in Spring Green, the House on the Rock was created by famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

The Original House Experience

Section 1 Only

The house is broken up into three sections. In this tour you’ll be able to explore popular sights like the Infinity Room and Asian Gardens. You’ll also have free reign of the 13 rooms included in the original house.

The Highlight Experience

Section 1 and 2

For those who want to spend more time in this gorgeous architectural landmark, this experience effectively doubles what you can see. You get access to everything from the Original House Experience, but with the sensational exhibits that will treat your eyes with spectacular displays of elegance and awe.


Some of our favorite highlights in this tour include The Carousel Room, The Heritage of the Sea (with its large indoor sea monster on display), and the Spirit of Aviation Museum.

The Ultimate Experience

All Sections

For just a few extra dollars, you’ll have endless access to all of the House on the Rock’s best experiences all day long! You’ll not only get to see everything from Section 1 and 2, but you’ll be able to get a closer look at exhibits with fewer people vying for space.


The Doll House Room, Circus Room, and Organ Room are by far the best of the indoor exhibits in section 3. Additionally, you can go on a nature walk that gives you a new perspective on the Infinity Room.

The Dark Side

Boo! If you visit in October, you’ll creep through the dark halls of the House on the Rock. Venture through the maze and pass by the spooky dollhouses after their typical hours. Don’t get caught!


Tickets run $19.95 per adult. The attraction opens at 6:30PM.

Celebrate your merry Christmas at House on the Rock. St. Nicholas will deck the house’s halls with holly and cheer. See a collection of Santa Claus collectibles of all types and sizes.
